House rules

WELCOME!

All guests of Tropical Escape are advised to review before and during every stay, it contains important information to ensure you have a memorable and uninterrupted stay.
Also helps us remain desirable as the most wishful-listed place to stay in Sarasota.

1. Sarasota County "Quiet Hours":
• Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 PM - 8:00AM
• Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM - 8:00AM

2. Glass cups, bottles, etc. are restricted to inside only. Glass on paver areas, in or around pool and hot tub incur in $150 USD  fine per day.

3. SHOWER before using pool or hot tub. Oils and sunscreens make the hot tub water sticky. $75 USD fine ($250 USD if drain, clean, refill). 

4. BURNING anything is prohibited everywhere (inside and out), excepty in designated areas (please ask us). NO candles, NO fireworks, NO smoking any substance, NO gas generators, etc. Violation incurs $500 USD fine per day of violation. 

5. SAND: Please shake beach towels and sandy shoes or clothing outside over driveway or grass. NO sandy clothes in washer/dryer. 

6. PETS: ALL pets require approval. Pet costs are per pet, per night of booking, and calculated as:
 $16 USD + $0.50 USD/Lb above 16 Lbs. Uncrated pets and service animals require a $125 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout to the degree of a clean and damage-free stay. 
No cats allowed.  
Service animals must be disclosed and discussed prior to booking to avoid disruption.

7. VISITORS: All visitors require approval. There’s a fee for more than 2 visitors beyond 2 hours. There’s a fee for all visitors that obtain approval to use property amenities. A visitor remaining on premises 11:00PM - 7:00AM is considered an overnight guest and charged triple initial booking fees.


8. EXTRA GUESTS: All extra guests require approval prior to entering property and are at least $25 USD per person per night if booking. 

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS
 

1. Check-in: 4:00PM or later.

2. Keyless access. A unique entry code is valid during your reservation period and provided within three days of check-in. 
 

3. PARKING: 1 vehicle per 3 guests. Approval required for additional vehicles and fees may apply. Parking is right of stairs or anywhere on pavered areas. Large vehicles, trailers or heavy equipment, boats, mobile homes, etc. may incur fees. Ask before booking.
 

4. Accommodations are upstairs. If needed, ask if elevator is functional prior to booking. 
 

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Check-out time: before 11:00AM.
 

2. Please contact host upon departure.
 

3. Bedding: Please leave beds unmade.
 

4. Dishes and trash: Please ensure dishes are clean or running in dishwasher (loaded properly, heat dry). Please wipe any spills on floors or surfaces, and put trash in receptacles below stairs. Leftover food may be left in refrigerator.
